In reply to Anthony. Thanks Anthony. I will definitely stop in next time. Ottawa is such a haven of for dining out, isn't it? In a previous life I found myself at a venerable Ottawa deli for dinner one night. I believe it was Nate's. Anyway, who walks in but our PM at the time, The Right Honourable Jean Chretien. And with only one bodyguard! He sat quietly and ate his dinner, and obliged the couple of people that approached him to chat.

Next time you do the Ottawa run check out Thr33’s Co. Snack Bar. Great cocktails, local beers and an interesting selection of small plates to work your way through.

Great suggestions! I’ve been meaning to try Leslie’s and The Bear.
